Elegance and Style = “Sleeky”

Are you what people would call "Sleeky"?

Some dictionaries define the word sleeky as being smooth and glossy. A panther has a natural sleeky appearance, while on a smaller scale, some would say that a Burmese cat would have an elegant sleeky appearance. What about people? Can a person have a sleeky demeanour? The answer is yes. Some people have an inbuilt quality and natural class that gives them that sleeky look, while others spend a fortune on hairstyles and grooming and clothes to achieve "that" look.

Sleeky can also apply to inanimate objects also. If you see a classy modern looking boat, you could say that it’s sleeky, having a sleek appearance. The same could be said of a finely scuptured motor vehicle. The neck of a guitar with bright new shiny strings running along it can also have a sleeky look.

You can’t buy Class ... but

you can give the impression of sleekiness not by what you wear, although it helps to wear something stylish, but by how you wear it. A few minutes in front of a mirror in your finest black can tell you that you look sleeky. However, a few seconds in front of someone whose word you trust to be truthful and honest, will tell you whether you have "it" or not.

Body shape has a lot to do with how strangers perceive us. We should be honest with ourselves and dress according to our body types. No use trying to pass off as sleeky if we’re a few pounds overweight and we’re trying to squeeze into something that’s two sizes below what we should be putting on.

You can’t buy class, but you can look “Sleeky”
